Recording and Saving your Voice with DIVACE Player/Recorder

Open Divace

You can either open Divace from the start menu
or
you can click on the icon that is on the Desktop.

Put on your headset, with the microphone in front of your mouth or just below it (not behind your head!) and get ready to record.

Click the 'Speak' Icon when you're ready.

Speak naturally--the recorder does all the work here. You just have to speak your part.

Press stop when you're done.

Save your file.
Click the Yellow C-icon in the word DIVACE at the top of the player to access the drop down menu and select 'Save As.'.

Name your file. Suggested format is:

LastnameFirstInitial
Assignmenttype00.mp3

e.g. LeonardGOral01.mp3

Save as type MP3-pull down the menu to select 'Compressed Audio Files (*.mp3).

If you will be uploading the file later, it's easiest to save on the desktop.
